Proven before it's packaged
Nothing goes in a jar that isn't already on the menu. The salsas launching this fall are the ones customers asked to buy by name, often enough that we counted.
Launching fall 2026
Chef Muñoz is a Mexican pantry line built from the recipes Gabriel Muñoz spent two decades refining in Bronx kitchens — and still cooks every day at our taqueria on East 170th Street. Salsas come first. The rest of the kitchen follows.

The idea
Chef Muñoz isn't a concept that needed recipes. It's a set of recipes that outgrew a restaurant. Every product we release has already been cooked thousands of times, served to paying customers, and adjusted until it was right.

Salsas, consommés, soups, marinades, and eventually full meal kits. The same kitchen, category by category, in the order we can do each one properly.
The restaurant is open every day until midnight. If you want to know whether this is worth buying, eat there and decide before we've sold you anything.
First out of the kitchen
Two recipes, two completely different approaches to heat. The roja is chile de árbol and costeño grilled low until properly charred, with garlic and onion cooked down beside them for twenty minutes. The verde takes green jalapeño in raw so the heat stays sharp, then rounds it out with avocado, cilantro and hand-squeezed lime.
